Learning sessions at Donvale Primary School are 1 hour in length.
A typical day includes:
1 hour of Core Literacy work (P-2), 30 minutes of Core Literacy (3-6)
1 hour of English
1 hour of Maths
and across the week will include up to:
3 hours of Humanities
2 hours of STEM
1 hour of Art
1 hour of Music
1 hour of PE
1 hour of Mandarin
1 hour of Health
as well as library and assembly

Children arrive at school
The sound of music indicates that classes are about to commence. The junior school line up outside the building in their respective lines and the senior school students enter their classrooms

The school grounds are supervised before school from 8:45am, and after school until 3:45pm. Outside these times, children can attend the out-of-school hours care program provided by OSHClub.
School assemblies are held every Friday afternoon in the senior building, commencing at 2.50pm. Parents and carers are welcome to attend as we celebrate achievements, reflect on recent events and share information about the forthcoming week.
