School Council

School Council plays an important role in supporting the ongoing success and direction of Donvale Primary School. It brings together parents, staff and community members who work collaboratively to help guide the school and strengthen our community.

At its core, School Council helps ensure that Donvale remains a safe, inclusive and high-quality learning environment for all students.

What Does School Council Do?

School Council works closely with the Principal to:

  • set the broad direction and vision of the school

  • develop and review school policies

  • support the implementation of the School Strategic Plan

  • oversee and monitor the school budget, including fundraising

  • support the maintenance and improvement of school facilities and grounds

  • promote and represent the school within the wider community

Decisions made by School Council help shape the experiences of students and families at Donvale Primary School.
