ART at Donvale Primary School

      Donvale's art room is the perfect place for your child's artistic juices to flow.

     Some amazing work is produced during art sessions with our very talented art teacher. 

     The results of the program can be seen displayed around the school.

     'Cinderella's Revenge'. Level 2 students have been working on Fairy Tales so in ART they had to design then make new shoes for Cinderella using 'Magic Clay'.

     The results were outstanding, colourful and very imaginative.

     Level 4 students had lots of fun creating 'Colourful Containers' using clay.

     At the end of the year all Year 6 students decorated a calico bear to display at their Graduation.

This was part of a unit of work using Textile Art.

    Book Week in the Art Room.

     The children enjoyed listening to the short listed book 'Shh! Little Mouse' by Pamala Allen.

Working in pairs, they created a visualisation for the word

     SMASH

     By blowing blue paint across a piece of paper.

To finish off, the children then performed a 'Soundscape' while the story was read aloud.
