Extra Curricula activities

Music Lessons		Donvale students are offered tuition in Guitar, Drums, Percussion and Keyboard during school hours. Enrolment forms and details are available from the school office.   read more..
Animal Club		Students who are a part of the Animal Club meet once a fortnight at lunch time. They meet animals visiting the school, raise money for animals in need and discuss responsible pet ownership. read more..
Victorian Premier's Reading Challenge		The Premiers Reading Challenge is on again this year. All students are encouraged to complete the challenge for enjoyment and to practice their reading. Lots of books on the official list are available for borrowing in our school library. The most important part of the Reading Challenge is that students read with enjoyment and explore many books and authors.
Kilometre Club		The Kilometre Club began in Term 3 this year. The Kilometre Club meet at 8:30am every Wednesday morning. Parents, teachers and students run or walk around a one kilometre track. The Kilometre Club are keeping record of how many kilometres they have run and are mapping their way around Australia.
Chess Club		Chess Club has commenced! Junior School Council will run Chess Club every second Monday in the Library. Anyone from Prep to Year 6 is welcome.
Knitting Club		Students in the knitting Club meet every Tuesday lunch time. They learn how to knit and create their own knitted garment.
