Overview
At Donvale Primary School we are very proud of the caring, friendly environment that is our school. We also ensure that the learning process is supported by an active partnership between parents, students and teachers. Our school is situated in a safe and secure location with spacious grounds, large classrooms and excellent facilities. The school attracts students from a wide area because of its caring and friendly atmosphere. Our school curriculum follows the Victorian Essential Learning Standards as required by DEECD. This is outlined below.
We work on a two year curriculum cycle except for Level 1 which is one year, in line with the Victorian Essential Learning Standards (VELS).

Every child is unique and has a range of skills, experiences and abilities. The curriculum is adapted and modified within the classroom to cater for individual student’s needs and abilities. This is done through small group work, contract work and negotiated and differentiated curriculum.
